REMAIN IN GOD'S LOVE

“As the Father loves me,
so I also love you.
Remain in my love".
(John 15:9)

"If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love." (John 15:10)

The way we came to know love was that he laid down his life for us; so we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. (1 John 3:16)

If someone who has worldly means sees a brother in need and refuses him compassion, how can the love of God remain in him? (1 John 3:17)

Children, let us love not in word or speech but in deed and truth. By this we shall know that we are of the truth, and reassure our hearts before him whenever our hearts condemn us; for God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God. (1 John 3:18-21)

All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies (Psalm 25:10).

"I have told you this
so that my joy may be in you
and your joy may be complete.”
(John 15:11)

God's love for man is firmly fixed in place, immovable, and not subject to change. It is not a feeling or an emotion that can be affected by situations and circumstances, but it is an absolute truth on the nature of God. This is the reason why the Lord always seeks the lost.

God's faithfulness anchors on his steadfast love for man to receive what he had promised. It implies unswerving adherence to that oath or promise by which a tie has been contracted. The fullness of faithfulness comes with the oneness of God and men in mind, heart, body and spirit.  We can not be separated from God for we have been created in his likeness and image. "That they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me (Jn 17:21)."

It is by the falling of man to this oneness with God that Jesus was sent to the world. He opens back the door of salvation to those who wishes to again be one with God. "I am the door of the sheep (Jn. 10:7). No one comes to the Father but by Me (Jn. 14:6)."

DISCIPLINE

For the Lord disciplines him whom he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives. (Heb. 12:6)

Have you forgotten the exhortation which addresses you as sons? -- "My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor lose courage when you are punished by him. (Heb. 12:5)

It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? (Heb. 12:7)

For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant; later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. (Heb. 12:11)

Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed. Strive for peace with all men, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one fail to obtain the grace of God; that no "root of bitterness" spring up and cause trouble, and by it the many become defiled. (Heb. 12:12-15)

The Lord is just waiting for you to go back to him and for sure, all of his promises are beyond your wildest dreams and imagination!
