The Lord never stops to reach out his hands towards us most especially in times when we are falling into the pits of sin. These usually happens each time we drift away from the Lord and turn our hearts to something else.
God made a covenant with the people of Israel that he will give them a land. A covenant that he kept faithfully even though the recipients and beneficiaries of such great blessings have turned their hearts away from him in numerous occasions. Whenever they would go back to him, he will always forgive them. This is how compassionate the Lord is to his people (Ps. 78: 34-38)!
You have a compassionate God, a Father who patiently waits for the return of your heart towards him. Show him how much you love him by being consistent in all the things he expects from you. He desires nothing but the best for you.
We know that in everything God works for good with those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. --- Romans 8:28
